Elizabeth Ellison > Farm Manager
After completing a BSc in Agriculture and Food Science, specialising in Environmental Biology, Liz joined the staff at Wellgate as the Development Officer in 1999. After five years, in 2004, she became the Farm Manager.
Liz thinks that Wellgate is an interesting place to work: "You meet such a wonderful variety of people and build a whole range of stories of 'things that happened' to entertain with" and says it has definately changed since she first began working here: "Everything has grown larger, including the site. There are more animals, more people, more events and more educational sits".
